Pancakes

Note: There is an actual Pancake Day in the UK. See more about it and find dates at Wikipedia. (However, this should not be confused with IHOP's Pancake Day, which is a commercial promotion for the US restaurant chain and falls on a different date... but does include free pancakes. :)

Pancake Flipper

Make a 'frying pan' by glueing a paint stick onto the bottom of a paper plate. Punch a hole and tie a string to the front of the plate (or just tape it). Glue the other end of the string in between two brown circles to make the pancake. Let kids decorate their pancake flipper as desired, and practice flipping and catching the pancake!

Breakfast Plate

Cut strips of brown paper (bacon), white ovals and smaller yellow circles (eggs), and tan circles (pancakes). Let kids glue these onto a paper plate to make their own perfect breakfast!
