There was a farmer who had a dog,

And Bingo was his name-o.

BINGO Feltboard

Check out this fantastic idea for making feltboard pieces for this song! It's so easy and really reinforces early literacy skills! http://missmaryliberry.wordpress.com/2009/09/11/feltboard-flannelboard-whatchamacallit-that-thing-you-stick-stuff-on/

Here are some pictures of dogs you can cut out and glue to the backs:  DOGS.pub

Five Little Puppies

Five little puppies were playing in the sun

This one saw a rabbit, and he began to run

This one saw a butterfly, and he began to race

This one saw a pussycat, and he began to chase.

This one tried to catch his tail, and he went round and round.

This one is so quiet, he never made a sound!

Old Mother Hubbard

Old Mother Hubbard,

went to the cupboard,

to fetch her poor dog a bone.

But when she got there,

the cupboard was bare,

and so the poor dog had none.

Do Your Ears Hang Low?

Do your ears hang low

(tug at earlobes)

Do they wobble to and fro?

(wave hands back in forth)

Can you tie them in a knot?

(tie an invisible knot)

Can you tie them in a bow?

(tie an invisible bow)

Can you throw them over your shoulder

(toss something over your shoulder)

Like a continental soldier

(salute)

Do your ears hang low?

(tug at earlobes)
