Activities:

Daddy Daddy

(To the tune of: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star)

Daddy, daddy, let me say

I love you in every way.

I love you for all you do,

I love you for being you.

Daddy, daddy, let me say

I love you in every way!

Animal Dads

(To the tune of: The Wheels on the Bus)

The froggy dad goes ribbit, ribbit, ribbit.

Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit. Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit!

The froggy dad goes ribbit, ribbit, ribbit,

All day long!

The bunny dad goes hop, hop, hop...

The kitty dad goes meow, meow, meow...

The horsie dad goes neigh, neigh, neigh...

Let's Wave Our Hands

Let's wave our hands for Daddy,

for Daddy, for Daddy.

Let's wave our hands for Daddy,

let's wave them this way!

Wave this way and that way,

wave this way and that way.

Let's wave our hands for Daddy,

let's wave them this way!

Let's bounce around...

Let's clap our hands...

Crafts:

Picture Frame

Cut construction paper into 4 pieces. Give each child one square. Have children glue popsicle sticks onto their square to make a box. Then, use various materials to decorate the sticks. Punch a hole in the top of the paper and string with lanyard string to make a hanger. Announce that when children get home, they can glue a family picture onto the construction paper to complete the frame!
