Jelly Bean Countdown

(Use real jelly beans or flannelboard ones, in 5 different colors. You can change the colors depending on what you have available)

5 little jelly beans

I wish I had more!

I'll eat the blue one

Now there are four!

 

4 little jelly beans

Tasty as can be

I'll eat the green one

Now there are 3!

 

3 little jelly beans

Only a few.

I'll eat the orange one

Now there are 2!

 

2 little jelly beans

Eating them is fun

I'll eat the yellow one

Now there is 1!

 

1 little jelly bean

The last one for me

I'll eat the purple one

Birthday Candles

Today I have a birthday,

I'm four years old you see.

(Hold up four fingers)

 

And here I have a birthday cake

(Make a circle with arms)

 

Which you may share with me!

First we count the candles,

Count them everyone.

One, two, three, four.

(Hold up fingers one by one)

 

The counting now is done.

Let's blow out the candles,

Out each flame will go.

Swirly Lollipop Coloring Page

Just print and color, or copy the template onto sturdier paper (like cardstock), cut out, and decorate.

Extra Large Candy

Start with 2 paper plates. Draw lines on each one to divide it into 8 pie shaped sections. Color every other section. Glue the plates together with the colored sides out. Cover the plates with clear cellophane (you have to use the stiff kind from the wrapping paper section), and tie the ends with ribbons or yarn to look like a wrapped piece of candy.

 

 

Paper Lollipops

To make this craft, you need markers, cardstock paper or paper plates, a craft stick, and glue. Cut out the lollipop shape from cardstock paper using a template of your choice. Attach the craft stick to the template with glue. Add all kinds of swirly colors to your lollipop with markers.
