When a noise he hears,
he pricks up his ears.
And jumps in the hole in the ground!
Tired Bunnies
"Come my bunnies, it's time for bed"
That's what Mother Bunny said.
"But first I'll count you, just to see
If you have all come back to me!"
Bunny 1, Bunny 2, Bunny 3, oh dear!
Bunny 4, Bunny 5, yes, you're all here!
You're the sweetest little things alive
My bunnies, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5!
Hippity Hop
(Hold up fingers like rabbit ears, or ask 5 kids to help you act it out)
Hippety-hop, hippety-hay,
Five little bunnies went out to play.
Hippety-hop, hippety-hay,
One little bunny hopped away.
etc...
Once I Saw a Bunny
Once I Saw a Bunny
(close fist and extend middle and index fingers)
And a green, green cabbage head
(make fist with other hand)
I think I'll have some cabbage
The little bunny said
So he nibbled and he nibbled
(wiggle the two fingers up and down)
And he pricked up his ears to say
(extend fingers straight)
Now I think it's time
I should be hopping on my way.
(hop hand away)
Little Bunny
(Tune: There was a little Turtle)
There was a little bunny who lived in the wood. (Hold up two fingers)
He wiggled his ears as a good bunny should. (Place pointer fingers on either side of head and wiggle)
He hopped by a squirrel (Make rabbit ears with fingers and 'hop')
He hopped by a tree (Repeat)
He hopped by a duck (Repeat)
And he hopped by me. (Hop over opposite fist)
He stared at the squirrel (Shade eyes)
He stared at the tree
He stared at the duck.
But he made faces at me! (Wiggle nose)
My Little Bunny
My little bunny. (hold up two fingers)
Goes hop, hop, hop. (make “rabbit” hop)
His long, long ears (hold hands straight up on top of head)
Go flop, flop, flop. (flop hands on top of head)
His great big feet
Go stomp, stomp, stomp, (stomp one foot three times)
And his great big teeth (hold two fingers down)
Go chomp, chomp, chomp. (make two fingers and thumb meet three times)
Little Rabbit
I saw a little rabbit go hop, hop, hop.
(Hold up two fingers and go hop, hop, hop.)
I saw his long ears go flop, flop, flop.
(Place hands above head and flop at wrists.)
I saw his little eyes go wink, wink, wink.
I saw his little nose go twink, twink, twink.
(Wiggle nose.)
I said, “Little Rabbit, won’t you stay?”
(Make beckoning motion.)
But he just looked at me and hopped away.
(Make two fingers hop away.)
