Two little blackbirds sitting on a hill.

(hold both hands up)

One named Jack.

(hold up one hand)

The other named Jill.

(hold up the other hand)

Fly away Jack, fly away Jill!

(wave hands as you move them behind your back)

Come back Jack, come back Jill!

(wave hands back to the front)

Little Bird 

I saw a little bird go hop, hop, hop.

I told the little bird to stop, stop, stop.

I went to the window to say 'How do you do?'

He wagged his little tail and far away he flew! 

Five Feathered Birds

Five feathered birds sitting on the door;

One flew away and then there were four.

Four feathered birds singing in the tree,

One flew away and then there were three.

Three feathered birds looking at you,

One flew away and then there were two.

Two feathered birds sitting in the sun,

One flew away and then there was one.

One feathered bird looking like a hero,

He flew away and now there are zero!

I’m a Little Bird

(Tune: I’m a Little Teapot)

I’m a little bird in the sky, sky, sky.

(Hold arms out and move like soaring)

I flap my wings and fly, fly, fly.

(Flap arms like wings)

When my wings get tired, I’ll stop to rest.

(Hold arms against sides)

I’ll take a nap in my soft nest.

(Close eyes, lean cheek on hands)

Little Bird

A wee little bird (Make a fist)

With little bird legs (“Walk” two fingers)

Sat on her nest (Hold fist in palm of other hand)

To hatch her eggs.

She felt a wiggle (Wiggle fist)

And a wobble (Wiggle more)

And a Snap! and Crunch! (Clap twice)

Out popped her chicks— (Hold up five fingers, wiggle)

What a funny-looking bunch!

One, two, three, four, five. (Touch fingers as you count)

Crows in the Garden

Crows are in the garden—

Shoo, crows, shoo!

(Make shooing motions with hands)

My little garden’s

(Shake index finger and head, “No”)

No place for you.

Fly away, crows,

(Flap arms like wings)

Fly away, all.

The crows in the garden

Cry, “Caw! Caw! Caw!”

Five Eggs and Five Eggs

Five eggs and five eggs

That makes ten.

Sitting on top

Is Mother Hen.

(Cover one fist with the other hand)

Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!

(Clap hands three times)

What do I see?

Ten little chickies

As fluffy as can be!

(Wiggle fingers)
