Crafts:

Day to Night Painting

Give kids heavy white paper (like construction paper or art paper - something heavier than plain copy paper). Provide lots of bright or flourescent colored crayons, since these work better than dark colors. Let the kids draw pictures of stars, the moon, or whatever they'd like, but make sure they press down hard. When they are done, brush black or dark blue paint over the entire picture. The wax will resist the paint, so the drawing will show through.

Moon Mobile

Use the accucuts for the mobile hanger, moon, and stars (large and small). Let kids choose the pieces they want for the mobile, and assemble it using yarn, thin curling ribbon, or fishing line. Tape the pieces on.
